Destiny

When I saw you there walking across the street.

My heart pumped fast like it was meant to be.

You winked at me felt like you caught me off my feet.

I wanted to run to you and kiss you breathlessly.

But then you disappeared and left me standing on my own

two feet.

I felt upset like I lost my destiny.

I looked around saw nothing but my life move past.

 

I couldn't believe how you left so fast.

I mean there you were and there you left

I stayed there looking ahead cars drove past days

moved on memories of you are still not gone.
